Career

I Have served on the Society of Real Estate Appraisers’ International Board of Governors for six years and been an instructor for the Society and for the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers; has served on boards and national committees, including ethics and review, for both of the Appraisal Institute’s predecessor organizations; also a member of the High Point Association of Realtors Hall of Fame.

I was president of the Southern Railway Historical Association (SRHA), which feeds my interest in history and railroads. I also am active in the Carolina Model Railroad, which originated some 25 years ago in the historic old Southern Railway Depot in Greensboro, NC
